Cleaning & Care

How should I clean my jewellery?

Looking after your jewellery will extend the life and beauty of it.  We recommend to all our customers that you should remove your jewellery before going to bed or taking part in any physical activity.  Do not swim in your jewellery as chlorine and salt water will having a dully effect.  Don't bathe or shower or wash dishes whilst wearing your jewellery and avoid contact with perfumes, creams and makeup.

To clean your Silver jewellery we recommend using warm soapy water and a very soft toothbrush to clean around the item, rinse and pat dry.  A silver polishing cloth is recommended to make your jewellery shine again, although this will not get rid of scratches.

The Gold vermeil finish will wear away over time, this is considered normal wear and tear and is not a defect.  When cleaning gold plated jewellery, very gently wipe with a soft polishing cloth, do not scrub as this can prematurely wear the gold plating off.

Storing your Jewellery

When storing your jewellery we recommend that you keep it away from any natural sunlight and heat in a protective jewellery box, we suggest you don't store your jewellery box in a bathroom. Keep your jewellery separate so they don't rub together
